Because some carvings and art works are made for a completely unique purpose, some items on Knotcarver.com may be listed as special order only. For instance, art work frames cannot be made until the dimensions are defined by the customer.

Furthermore, sold items (that have not yet been removed from the online inventory) default to special order status since similar pieces may be available from artists and suppliers.

Customers can ask for more information at any time by clicking the special order button wherever it appears on Knotcarver.com. Doing so takes them to a simple e-mail form that sends their inquiry directly to the artist/supplier.

Because we treat special orders as voluntary requests, Knotcarver.com can protect the privacy of both member's and customer's information. By using this method, we prevent "e-mail harvesting" and unsolicited transmissions (spam). See our user's privacy policy for more information about how we protect your information.
